Our Vanilla Absolute oil is distilled from the beans of Vanilla Planifolia Fruit grown in Madagascar. The aroma of vanilla oil invites sensuality and dissipates anger or stress. Its relaxing aroma makes it a useful ingredient in aromatherapy blends. It is also an excellent antioxidant and has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. It is also a good addition to skin care formulations for its anti-ageing and skin brightening effects.

All Somic Oil Blends are made with 100% organic and botanically derived sustainably sourced essential and absolute oils. The colour of the blends truly reflect nature's colours from the botanically extracted oils.

Intensity: Deep and long-lasting; typically used in small amounts due to its strength and viscosity.

Sweet and subtle

This thick, resinous oil is lovely. It seems very mild at first, but added to oils it seems to deepen the scent. I made up an oil blend and initially wondered if I might need to add more. After letting it sit for a week it took on a new life. I had a blend of Vanilla absolute and Australian Sandalwood with carrier oils. Just 1 drop of Sandalwood and 2 of the Vanilla in a 10ml roller. As I was sitting on the train in the warm sun I smelt freshly baked cookies, then I realised it mas me. 😂

Really good quality and smell, looks just like the vid. Good price as well, very happy with this purchase, I mixed it with jojoba oil and a bit of cinnamon for a perfume.

I absolutely love this vanilla absolute oil! I add it to all of my diy skincare products. It smells absolutely divine, everybody compliments the smell of my products because of this. Also it is very good for my skin when I use it mixed with jojoba oil. It leaves a glow and it's non-comedogenic.

WOW WOW WOW, I've purchased so many different vanilla oils from so many other places and I have never found one I liked until now. The smell is divine. The Vanilla Absolute Oil is exactly what I've been searching for to add to my body butters and to finally make my own perfume. I'm so happy that I've finally found a beautiful rich vanilla oil through Somic. I will definitely be buying this oil again and highly recommend it.

It smells absolutely amazing, but I wanted to use the dropper and the dropper comes out completely coated, but the opening for the bottle is too small so you end up spilling out the side when you try and get the dropper back through the neck of the bottle
