Our Frankincense essential oil is distilled from the resin of Boswellia Carterii from Somalia. Frankincense has been used as an incense in India, China, and the Catholic Church since antiquity. Its intoxicatingly smooth relaxing aroma can be used during meditation to encourage reflection and introspection. It focuses the mind and imparts tranquillity. It is also reported to help reduce minor pain and inflammation and helps clear respiratory congestion. It is non-toxic, non-irritant, and non-sensitising.
